Enough of Gun Violence: Non-Violence is Life

Enough of Gun Violence (E.G.V.) is a survivor, activist, and young-people-led grassroots collective assisting in holistic anti-violence efforts palpable at multiple degrees of the American experience. Enough of Gun Violence principally champions and uplifts gun violence prevention efforts as it pertains to mass shootings, domestic violence, systemic brutality, safe storage advocacy, suicide prevention, and common sense legislation at state and federal levels; the collective seeks to collaborate and work in service with members of the gun violence prevention movement through community education, organization, and lobbying while operating as one of the first young-people led collectives to assist members of marginalized communities in accessing equitable advocacy in the gun and domestic violence prevention movements.

What We Do

Community Outreach

We connect with domestic and gun violence prevention survivors, activists, and organizations from across the United States to advance their initiatives to curb violence.

Advocacy

We join domestic and gun violence prevention advocates for lobbying at local, state, and federal levels. We champion accessible advocacy by educating community members about how to  assist in passing life-saving legislation and organizing supportive virtual and in-person spaces for them to do so.

More About Us:

Enough of Gun Violence: Non-Violence is Life is a grassroots collective primarily based out of the D.M.V. area and dedicated to the prevention and reduction of domestic and gun violence through unconventional nonviolent action. We educate and facilitate dialogue in our communities about the impact of violence on American life and how to impact change creatively and holistically. We are active alongside key members of local, state, and national initiatives to reduce and prevent domestic and gun violence, operating as one of the first collectives of everyday young people dedicated to advancing wholly equitable and inclusive advocacy for marginalized survivors of violence.
